Thank you to everyone that gave a hand in making our 2nd annual Lions Festival a success. All sisters need to come together and be proud of what we have accomplished thus far.
Testimony of our impact
Thanks to all the Swine's who bought and sold raffle tickets for the Lions Festival. A BIG thank you to Maryann and her committee for a job well done on the booth. The highlight of the day (Friday) was our last customer of the night. A mother and daughter walk up to buy some tickets and she was reading the brochure and signs that are posted, and said "I know The Swine's".
"The Swine Sisters helped me at Christmas time in 2010". She stated that her 2 children had a wonderful Christmas that year thanks to us. She was very ill at the time and I remember she could not even come out of her bedroom to see us. Her daughter remembered the picture of our pig. She said she still had the box in the attic that the gifts were wrapped in. Her son wanted to throw it out and she said no. The paper was coming off it, but she still wanted to keep it to remind her of that Christmas. She said the box was a Miller light box that we wrapped in Christmas paper.
I told her I remembered her family and confessed to the daughter that I was Santa Clause dropping off the gifts that year. They asked if they could help us this year and give back to another family. I showed her on the brochure how to contact us.
I would like to remind all of you that this is who we are......and this is how we do it..........
I am proud of Successful Women Impacting Neighborhoods Everywhere.
